Soldering Workshop @ M1

On the 17th of May we will be hosting the next DIY soldering workshop 🙂
With coffee, tea, and cookies, we’ll be building Eurorack modules and/or small sound devices from the group MODULOVE and other developers.

Anyone more interested in working on their own DIY projects (cables, effects, etc.) is still warmly welcome and may find helpful support within the group.

If you have tools, please bring them along.

DIY kit prices start at €20 (and go up to €140), and MODULOVE also kindly asks for donations to help cover materials and support their work.

We have three options available for this workshop.

1. Standalone Atari Punk Console for 20€ 
2. A simple eurorack module the “MOD1” for 20€
   
3. WGD UTF-9 Drum Machine for 30€

You can register for the workshop below by reserving a free ticket! You may also purchase one of the limited DIY kits with the other tickets. If you would prefer to pay in cash then just book a spot and you can pay in person at the workshop.

We will cover a few things including:

• How to get started with DIY Synths.
• which tools are needed / recommended.
• Where to get components and how to best proceed with building.
• Basic soldering techniques.
• Some of the tips and tricks we have learnt along the way

Everything you will need will be on site and we will help you step by step to build your synthesiser.
