PITCHKEEPER

Dual-Channel Offset Generator & Motion Looper for Eurorack - by Omri Cohen × Modulove

DEMO VIDEO

Pitchkeeper gives you precision pitch control with a lock function, plus a motion looper that turns your fader gestures into repeating CV modulation. Two independent channels. Four voltage ranges. USB-C firmware updates. Just 6HP.

Built for performers, tuning nerds, and anyone who wants more from their utilities.

THE PROBLEM

You've finally tuned your oscillator perfectly.

Then you tweak the pitch knob and... it's gone.

Where was that sweet spot?

It happens every session. Sometimes twice.

But what if you could just lock it?

THE SOLUTION

Set your pitch with a fader. toggle the lock. Done - your tuning is frozen in place, immune to accidental bumps. Experiment freely, knowing you can always snap back to exactly where you were.

That's Pitchkeeper. A dual-channel precision offset generator with motion looper, born from a real patching need - conceived by Omri Cohen, built by Modulove.

FEATURES

You've dialed in the perfect pitch. Lock it - and it stays, no matter what. Now the pitch knob on your oscillator is free. Detune for width. Sweep for effect. Come back to perfect tuning with a flick of the toggle.

Move the fader. Pitchkeeper records that movement - up to 5 minutes - and plays it back as looping CV. Plug it into a filter cutoff, a VCA, a panning module. Keep shaping it by modulating offset and attenuation via fader and pot. Your one-time gesture is now a repeating, evolving part of your patch.

Tuning a V/Oct oscillator? Use ±5V. Sending offset to a VCA? Switch to 0–10V. One button cycles through four ranges: ±10V, ±5V, 0–10V, 0–5V. Full fader throw on each range.

How Pitchkeeper Was Born

"I was always a bit afraid of the pitch knob. I didn't want to bump it by accident, or reach for the wrong parameter and knock the oscillator out of tune. So many times I'd be completely in the zone, and then - just like that - I'd nudge the pitch and snap right out of it."

That changed at the Dutch Modular Fest in Utrecht. Omri saw a performer running a single tuned voice with the pitch control turned all the way down, offsetting the pitch back up using a sequencer. A clear reference point - if anything drifted, she knew exactly where to return.

"That was a lightbulb moment. I wanted a way to stop worrying about tuning altogether. To feel confident using the pitch control, not avoid it - to turn it into something expressive and performative."

Omri brought the idea to Linus at Modulove. Together we shaped the concept, refined details and iterated prototypes. The result: a module born from a real patching need - engineered by Fabian, designed by Sasha.

ABOUT MODULOVE

Modulove is a Hamburg-based collective making Eurorack modules since 2021. Most of our designs are open-source - schematics, firmware, all of it. We run soldering workshops, share everything we learn, and believe gear should be built together.

Why Crowdfunding?

Pitchkeeper is designed, prototyped, and ready for production. What's missing is you.

As a small collective, we don't have the resources to fund a production run upfront. Your backing makes this first batch happen - every pledge brings Pitchkeeper one step closer to your rack.

We're at Superbooth 2026. Come see Pitchkeeper in person, try it hands-on, and meet the team. booth #Z018 in the circus tent
