The Westlicht Performer is one of the most loved sequencers in the Eurorack community.

We’re huge fans and so Sasha our co-founder and the designer behind our panels, did it again.

The PEW|FORMER Frontpanel is his redesign of the original: a new face for a sequencer. Same connectors, same encoder positions, same module footprint.

This is just the panel, not a module. You already own a Performer. You unscrew the original face, you put this one on.

Why he made it

Westlicht set the Performer free as open hardware, and Phazerville kept the firmware alive. We’ve been contributing to that work in our own fork. Once you flash it: 16 tracks across two banks, 8 LFO modulators with real-time scope previews, 7-bit microtiming recording, a dedicated keyboard page, color-coded pattern LEDs, CV-to-MIDI-CC routing, and a handful of UI fixes.

Who is it for

People who already have a Performer in the rack. Builders who appreciate that the firmware their sequencer runs on exists because a handful of people kept pushing it forward on weekends. If you’ve ever wished the Performer had a face that matched the depth of what it does.. this is that face.

What you get

One PEW|FORMER Frontpanel, ENIG finish and ready to mount on your existing Performer.

!!! Please make sure that the panel will fit your module as there is hardware with the original layout and then also a rework that has a variation of the CV out jacks positioning. This means if you must check which version you have before ordering or it may not fit.

Sasha also accounted for this and has designed the panel for both variations of the hardware.
